Lay’s was looking for an equity spot that drove home their product’s inherent irresistibility. What better than a little light-hearted cannibalism? I kid, I kid…but the spots featuring Mattel’s Potato Heads were a huge hit with consumers.
In order to keep the narrative fresh, we introduced two new characters to the Potato Head world - Tater and Tot - and told this story through their eyes.
